Your First Visit to Our Westerville Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

During your first visit, you and the doctor will have an opportunity to sit down and get to know one another. It is important that trust is established at this time, so you will feel comfortable in our office. You will have an opportunity to explain to the doctor what brought you into our office and what you are hoping to achieve from Chiropractic care.

The doctor will take a detailed history and do a thorough musculoskeletal examination. This will include neurological and orthopedic testing. If the doctor deems it necessary, xrays will be taken during this visit. It is not commonplace for treatment to be rendered on this first visit. The doctor feels it is very important to have the opportunity to review all your examination results and determine what your diagnosis and treatment plan will be before you are treated. The doctor reserves the right to administer treatment if she deems it necessary on that first visit.

Dr. Alisha Asks some important questions of interest to Westerville residents - Chiropractor Westerville Dr. Alisha Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's your plan to deal with drug-resistant 'super germs'?
Chiropractors have always been concerned with the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, accelerating the mutation of microbes that make "wonder" drugs increasingly ineffective. My strategy? Do everything possible to bolster my immune system through proper diet, rest, exercise, clean air, pure water and an optimally functioning nervous system with regular chiropractic care.
