Regular Visits

The first and second visits are the most time consuming. You should plan on scheduling one hour for each of these visits. If you have not made a same day appointment for your initial visit, our office will mail the initial paperwork to you so you have the opportunity to complete it prior to coming to our office. Another option is to print it off our website and complete it prior to your first visit. It is preferable that you complete the paperwork prior to your first visit, in order to expedite the examining process.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

Upon arrival at our office, Lynn, our office manager will greet you and ask you to sign in. This is the time to give her a copy of your driver's license and insurance information. If you have had the opportunity to complete the initial paperwork, you can give it to Lynn at this time. If you haven't, she will be happy to provide you with the paperwork and you can fill it out at this time. If you do not have the paperwork completed prior to arriving at the office, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time to you have time to complete the paperwork.

Your remaining appointments will range anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on the type of therapies you need or if you are doing in-office rehabilitation. If you are in a hurry on a particular day, please notify Lynn of that upon arrival and our office will do whatever we can to respect your time frame. Dr. Booher always does her best to not keep you waiting. She understands and respects your time, as she appreciates your promptness with your scheduled appointment time. If Dr. Booher is running behind, you can rest assured that it is due to a patient needing something "extra" that day that was perhaps unexpected. Dr. Booher prides herself on "going the extra mile" for her patients. Just remember, if you ever need that "extra time", Dr. Booher will take that time for you.

Please keep in mind that all co-pays and cash payments are expected at the time of service unless prior financial arrangements have been made with our office.

Dr. Alisha Asks some important questions of interest to Westerville residents - Chiropractor Westerville Dr. Alisha Asks...

What are the two things drugs do?
Drugs can either speed up (laxatives, amphetamines, caffeine) a bodily process, or slow down (stomach antacids, sleep aids, antihistamines, muscle relaxers) a bodily process. Chiropractic care can produce the same results, but relies on the intelligence of the body. Chiropractors trust your body. Do you?
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Westerville folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
