Your Second Visit to Our Westerville Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your second visit is what we refer to as your Report of Findings visit. During this visit, the doctor will once again sit down with you and explain exactly what your diagnosis is and what type of treatment is appropriate for your particular situation. The doctor will go over all of your examination results and explain what those results mean to you. You will receive a Report of Findings folder that will include a copy of your physical examination results and xray report, if xrays were taken. This will also contain helpful brochures and any other information that the doctor thinks is important for you to read in order to better understand Chiropractic and how it will help your particular situation.

Although not mandatory, we strongly encourage you to bring a friend or loved one with you to this Report of Findings. It is very important that your loved ones understand exactly what you are going through and what the future will hold for you during your recovery. This is especially helpful if your family is not sure exactly what "Chiropractic is all about and how it is going to help you."

After your Report of Findings is completed, our office manager will take the time to explain what your insurance benefits are, if you have insurance. If you don't have insurance, don't worry, Booher Family Chiropractic will take the time to discuss our cash payment options.

The final thing that occurs on this second visit is the most exciting. Today you will begin your Chiropractic care and you will be on your way to a healthier, happier life. Treatment is case specific, you will be treated with whatever protocol the doctor feels is necessary to heal your particular condition.

Dr. Alisha Asks some important questions of interest to Westerville residents - Chiropractor Westerville Dr. Alisha Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What's your plan to deal with drug-resistant 'super germs'?
Chiropractors have always been concerned with the indiscriminate use of antibiotics, accelerating the mutation of microbes that make "wonder" drugs increasingly ineffective. My strategy? Do everything possible to bolster my immune system through proper diet, rest, exercise, clean air, pure water and an optimally functioning nervous system with regular chiropractic care.
